Super authentic Cantonese style food. Freshly steamed, great idea serving the sauce in separate saucer so you can control the amount of sauce, great attention to detail. Really nice alternative to other cuisines.

This dim sum place was such a great find! If you’re after quick service, no-fuss dining, and tasty food that hits the spot, this is absolutely worth a visit. The vibe here is simple and efficient—no fancy decor or gimmicks, just good old-fashioned hospitality and food that speaks for itself. Service was fast and friendly, and we appreciated how smoothly everything ran even during a busy lunch period. The standout dish for us was the rice noodle rolls—absolutely delicious. They had a delicate texture, the filling was fresh, and the sauce brought everything together in a subtle, balanced way. You can really tell they know what they’re doing with that one. As for the dim sum, I personally found it quite tasty—well-cooked, flavourful, and served piping hot. My wife, however, thought it was a little underwhelming compared to the excellence of the noodle rolls, so there might be some variation in taste preferences there. Still, it was by no means bad—just didn’t wow us across the board. Pricing was very reasonable, especially given the quality and portion sizes. For a quick, satisfying meal that won’t leave your wallet crying, this place definitely delivers. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a casual bite, especially if you’re craving rice noodle rolls done right. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

Booming Dim Sum in Eastwood delivers an exceptional rice roll experience that will leave your taste buds craving for more. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or simply curious about trying something new, this place is it! We had the bbq pork rice roll and the chicken & mushroom congee and both felt very homey as if they’re cooked back at home Will come back for a second visit!

Solid prawn and char siew cheong fun! However the skin of the har gao could be thinner. Would recommend the prawn and spinach dumpling.

Had afternoon tea/after work snacks here a few days ago, and found the food quite delicious. I tried out a nice selection of different items from the menu. Everything taste very good, and were better than many yum cha places I've been to in Sydney. The prices are comparatively more expensive, but I think for the quality of the food and the taste, it's worth paying for!

Absolutely delicious! Freshly steamed buns are unbeatable here! Staff are friendly and suggested some nice dishes. Prices are very reasonable.

I don't normally go out of my way to leave reviews but this place was amazing! Tucked out of the way, looks really unassuming. The best steamed bbq pork bun I've ever had, best sticky rice, incredible range of fresh steamed rice rolls. Really little place so you can see the whole kitchen which is super clean and organised. Literally watched all our food come straight from the steamer to our table - super fresh! Walked in very hungry, rolled out in a food coma. Very happy, will be returning ASAP.
